Project overview
For many trans men, the journey to feeling comfortable in their own bodies is deeply personal, with studies showing that a significant percentage experience gender dysphoria related to their physical appearance and intimate relationships. This ongoing project addresses those needs with a gender-affirming prosthetic designed not only to provide comfort and realism but to enable an authentic physical connection between partners. Intended for use during intimate moments, it offers a more realistic experience that allows users to feel truly present and connected—enhancing the quality of shared moments in a way that feels natural and genuine.
I joined this project in its early stages, collaborating with the original creator—who wishes to remain anonymous—to help bring his vision to life. As a product design engineer and industrial designer, my focus is on making the design both functional and intuitive. By emphasizing a human-centered approach, I am working to create a product that goes beyond technical specifications, offering an experience that honors the intimacy and trust built between partners. This project is about more than just designing a product; it’s about listening, understanding, and building a solution that respects the diverse needs of the trans community.
My goal is to create a prosthetic that empowers trans men to experience the physical and emotional benefits of a design that aligns with their identity—allowing them to share more genuine, fulfilling moments with their partners while embracing their own sense of self.
